Circular Economy for Shopfitting – Procurement

The Planning and Procurement Phase

The retail store concept undergoes regular refreshes every two to three years, leading to significant construction waste generation that contributes to environmental pollution and climate change. However, there are multiple approaches to mitigate carbon dioxide emissions during store construction, furniture manufacturing, and end-of-life treatments. The key is to build future stores without relying on virgin materials and to extend the lifespan of existing furniture.

To address this issue, we will share a concise video clip outlining the principles of circular economy in shopfitting. This video will provide insights into sustainable practices aimed at minimizing waste and maximizing resource efficiency in the retail industry.
