Forests are not merely collections of trees; they are complex ecosystems that provide habitat for a diverse array of living creatures, including humans. They are the lungs of the Earth, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, thus playing a crucial role in combating climate change. Additionally, forests regulate water cycles, provide food and medicine, and support the livelihoods of millions of people worldwide.
However, the beauty and bounty of forests are under threat due to irresponsible human activities. Deforestation, driven by commercial gain, poses a severe risk to these vital ecosystems.
